Jewish Messiah

According to the scriptures in the Tanakh (Jewish Bible - also known as Old Testament), the prophecies which foretell the coming Anointed One (Messiah) point to Yeshua HaNotzree.

The Tanakh tells of God's purpose:

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob created you to have a personal relationship with Himself and to enjoy His abundant life. Nothing gives God greater pleasure than when you choose to have a personal relationship with Him of your own free will. "The Lord hath made every thing for his purpose." Proverbs 16:4

A Personal relationship with God will bring you His abundant life of Peace, meaning, happiness, purpose, and joy. "At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." Psalms 16:11

The Tanakh reveals man's problem:

Sin separates you from a personal relationship with God and His abundant life. Sin also causes spiritual death. "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God." Isaiah 59:2 " All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way." Isaiah 53:6

Sin separates you from God and causes guilt, lack of peace, frustration, unhappiness, lack of purpose. "For there is no man that sinneth not." I Kings 8:46 The soul that sinneth, it shall die." Ezekiel 18:

The Tanakh explains God's plan:

You cannot remove sin by your own human efforts. "All of our righteousness are as filthy rags." Isaiah 64:5

Man tries to remove his sin by religious works and good deeds. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12

Righteousness comes only by faith. Sin can be removed only by believing what God says. "And Abraham believed in the Lord, and God counted it to him for righteousness." Genesis 15:6

Faith must be placed in the blood of atonement (covering for sin). "For it is the blood that maketh an atonement." Leviticus 17:11

The Tanakh shows God's provision:

God has provided the blood of atonement today through a perfect sacrifice, one whom the Jewish Bible calls "The Messiah". "But He was wounded through our transgressions, bruised through our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with his wounds, we were healed." Isaiah 53:5 "And the Lord hath caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him." Isaiah 53:6

The Tanakh prophecies point to the Jewish Messiah:

Born in Bethlehem of Judah - Micah 5:1

Despised and rejected by men - Isaiah 53:3

Died for the sins of the Jewish people - Isaiah 53:8

Died by crucifixion - Psalms 22:15-18

Garments parted and cast lots for - Psalms 22:19

Came before destruction of 2nd Temple (70 A.D.) - Daniel 9:26

Arose from the dead - Psalms 16:10 & 110:1

Only one Man in all of history has fulfilled these prophesies. He is Yeshua (Salvation) Ha Mashiach (The Messiah). In the Greek language his name is translated Jesus Christose (Jesus The Christ).

You become a completed Jew by gaining the blood of atonement, the Messiah, and a more personal relationship with God, when you meet God's requirements concerning Messiah Yeshua.

The Tanakh gives man's prerogative:

You must ask Messiah Yeshua into your heart and life in order to have the blood of atonement, a personal relationship with God and to enjoy His abundant life. "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered.: Joel 3:5
